The Land Rover Discovery XXV (pictured) celebrates 25 years of the Discovery
The Land Rover Discovery was launched 25 years ago as a ‘Lifestyle’ Land Rover product complete with funky interior from Jasper Conran. And now, with the Discovery 4 nearing the end of its life, Land Rover is commemorating that anniversary with a special edition model – the Land Rover Discovery XXV Special Edition. The Discovery XXV is based on Land Rover’s top spec Disco – the HSE Luxury – and comes in a choice of four colours - Causeway Grey, Santorini Black, Fuji White and Indus Silver – with Narvik Black for the grill surround and door mirrors and Dark Atlas on the grill and vents.
The Peugeot 207 Economique - guess what its CO2 is?! As you may well have guessed, this is another car maker rolling out the usual low rolling resistance, lowered suspension, gear-change-light, steel wheels version of their regular runaround to create a car that magically dips below 100g/km CO2. Of course it’s completely disingenuous, because unless you drive like you’re carrying the last live eggs of the Dodo all the time you won’t get the CO2 levels quoted, and nor will you get the headline economy.
You really never know what hidden information you might find with a quick Google search. The 2015 Jeep Renegade's base and with-options price shows up in the Web search engine's vehicle synopsis, even though it doesn't show up on Jeep's own page. That means it could be hidden on the page, or just a variable passed to Google for inclusion later.
